What is the importance of metal recycling?
Metal recycling ensures that all metals remain in the cycle, which means:
– Less waste is created.
– Less primary waste substances are needed (less raw materials).
– Energy is saved (secondary metals are cleaner).
Metal recycling also provides employment for collectors, sorters, processors, remelters and suppliers to this industry. In short, metal recycling is good for the environment and the economy.

From a simple piece of iron to a priceless piece of platinum. We at Gebroeders Florack process all types of metal for you, not to mention the environment. Even so-called ‘welfare scrap’ such as a washing machines – which contains all sorts of other materials – is carefully and professionally dismantled by us, separated and offered for recycling.
NEW IRON
We have a considerable and constant stock of competitively priced new iron in various sizes.
The new iron can be sawn to size while you wait. Larger quantities can also be delivered to you with one of our trucks.
CAR DISASSEMBLY
I want to get rid of my old car, what now?
We can collect or return your old car to our company free of charge. In many cases you will even receive a compensation for your old car. As the last owner, you will receive a “disposal certificate” with which the car registration is cancelled with the RDW and the tax authorities. You are then no longer the legal owner of the vehicle and have no further obligations.
What happens to my old car?
We will dispose the car according to the ARN standard (Auto Recycling Nederland) of various environmentally harmful components, such as liquids, tyres, batteries, etc. We remove around 20 materials, which are placed in a separate reprocessing circuit. Next, the cleaner wreck goes to a shredder company where it is processed into small pieces. This allows the various materials to be recycled.
CAR TIRES
How does it work?
All tires – both new and used – are mounted on your rims in our workshop and are then balanced. The rims and tires are then fitted directly onto your car.

Are used car tires safe?
Yes, because our used tires come from scrap cars that have been offered for dismantling. Often these tires are still in excellent condition and can still cover many kilometres. All our used car tires have been checked and are exclusively of A1 quality. You will not find rejected, over-aged, cut-up or DA tires with us.
